Question? When I come in, in the morning, the Display reads
End of Day not complete stopped at step...
The following are common End of Day errors and some helpful resolutions.
1. Step #3 Windows Operating System
(All NCR register Models except 2170 and ScanMaster):
Retrieve register receipt tape from Master Register.
A. Error Code 8101 on register receipt tape
1. Make sure A/C 99 was run on the Master Register.
2. Check to make sure End Of Day was not already completed
on MEI
3. Login to Super POSS32
4. Option C Register Reporting
5. Option C Historical Register Reports
6. Enter today's date for a starting date and Enter through
the other fields
7. Select Hourly report (only because it is the easiest to
check)
8. Enter to last page and check EOD processing times for the
reports. If Yesterdays date, and a late time appear, or today's date
with and early time appear the information was already retrieved to
Super POSS32
9. Reset you EOD Processing Steps.
LKERR 90**
(The ** would apply to most communication errors from the Master)
1. Check Master to make sure there are no errors on register.
2. Perform an A/C 96 and A/C36 on the Master.
For those stores that have an LCD screen on their Master it would
be:
Option 13 enter
Option 2 enter
Option 1 enter
For those store that have a two line display on their Master it would
be:
96 enter
36 enter
Return key to Lock position.
3. Re-Start EOD
4. If EOD should stop again try a Master Reset on the Master
register and reboot the PC. (You should contact your NCR dealer before
performing a Master reset on the 2127.)
5. Re-Start EOD when both Master and PC are back up.
B. Error code 3452 on the Register receipt tape
1. Lock the Master Register
2. Restart EOD on PC
C. Step #5 Windows Operating System:
1. If PC screen says Step 5 Completed and appears locked up,
check printer on PC. Make sure there is paper and the printer is online.
Cycle the printer (turn off and then back on)
2. If PC screen says End Of Day stopped on step 5, contact
MEISolutions support to rebuild your financials.
D. STEP #6 Windows Operating System:
1. Check printer on PC. Make sure there is paper and the printer
is online. Cycle printer (turn off and then back on)
E. Step #12 Windows Operating System
(All register NCR register Models except 2170 and Scan Master):
Retrieve register receipt tape from Master register.
LKERR 90**

1. Check for File 1000 and Status 0000, if that is present
call MEISolutions' support.
2. If File 1000 displays this error:

F. There is not a File 1000 on the receipt.
1. Check Master to make sure there are no errors on register.

G. Error Code 8101 on register receipt tape
1. You need to check to see if the system has pulled the Primary
ItemDC file.
2. If File 1000 has a Status of 0000 then call MEISolutions'
Support
3. If the Primary ItemDC or File 1000 displays the error then
you need to contact you NCR dealer.
4. If the error was the Secondary ItemDC or File 1001, you
need to contact MEISolutions to finish your EOD. Then contact your
NCR dealer.
H. Windows Operating System (NCR2170 or ScanMaster)
1. Retrieve the EOD error report from the system printer.
2. Re-start EOD on the pc.
3. If EOD should stop again contact MEISolutions' support.
